- Close Siemens NX before installing.
- Run the Installer- if you see the “Windows protected your PC” dialog, click More info then click Run anyway to continue.
- On the Welcome page, click Next.
- Read the License Agreement (Terms of Use), then click I Agree if you accept. (Click Cancel if you do not agree, or contact CloudNC Support if you have questions before proceeding.)
- Ensure the Run Siemens NX box is checked.
- Click Finish to close the installer.
- When you open CAM Assist for the first time (for your first install and subsequent new versions), it will automatically open a webpage asking you to sign in:
- If you don’t have an account, scroll down and sign up for CAM Assist.
- Create a new password following the password guidelines, then press Next.
- You will receive an email with a one-time verification code. Check your email and enter the verification code in the dialog box. NOTE: If you do not receive a code, check your Spam folder or click "Send a new code"
- Assuming you have an active subscription to CAM Assist, you will see a confirmation page indicating a successful login and will be able to run CAM Assist.
NOTE - CAM Assist requires the Solid Modelling NX license
