- Close Mastercam before installing.
- Run the installerby double clicking the file that was just downloaded.
- On the Welcome page, click Next.
- Read the License Agreement (Terms of Use), then click I Agree if you accept. (Click Cancel if you do not agree, or contact CloudNC Support if you have questions before proceeding.)
- Choose Install Location for CAM Assist files. By default, the following folder is used on your local machine: C:\Users\Public\Documents\Shared Mastercam 2026\Add-Ins
- Choose Install Location for the Tool Library files. By default, the following folder is used on your local machine: C:\Users\Public\Documents\Shared Mastercam 2026\mill\Tools
- Click Install.
- Ensure Run Mastercam is checked, then click Finish to launch Mastercam.
- Inside Mastercam, locate the CloudNC tab and expand the CAM Assist panel.
- The first time you open CAM Assist, an authentication browser should open. Sign in using your My Mastercam credentials, and Allow the authorization.
- Assuming you have an active subscription to CAM Assist, you will see a confirmation page indicating a successful login and will be able to run CAM Assist.
